About Amelia K Academy
The Amelia K Academy was opened in 2018 by Amelia Arnold. Starting with just 20 students, the school has rapidly grown in the past two years and we now have over 150 pupils coming through our doors each week. We have created a strong name for ourselves performing at prestigious events all over the county and winning medals/awards at recent festivals and competitions.
We provide classes for students as young as 18 months old, through all childhood ages and up to Adults. We have a strong relationship with the prestigious Malvern St James Girls School, providing their dance training since 2018.
We offer a huge range of classes in Acro, Acting, Ballet, Commercial/Jazz, Contemporary, Flexibility, Hip Hop/Street Dance, Lyrical, Modern, Musical Theatre, Singing and Tap.
We offer private lessons for those wanting to compete in festivals, take Acting/Singing examinations or wish to further develop their skill set in a one to one setting. All students are given the opportunity to perform on a regular basis and compete/take examinations should they wish too.
We are extremely fortunate to be able to provide regular workshops with current working industry professionals from London's West End, UK Tours and Films + Television. Over lockdown, we have had over 50 West End/Industry Professionals teach our students - we are so thankful to have the contacts to offer these amazing opportunities to our students regularly.. Each year we hold an amazing West End Summer School, where we have visiting teachers each day, all teachers currently work within the industry and hold an enhanced DBS check. This allows our students the unique opportunity to learn choreography from some of the worlds most loved musicals!
All of our teachers are highly qualified and hold an enhanced DBS, Safeguarding Training, and are Fully Insured.
A fully trained first-aider is always available on site..
