Train harder, aim higher · 11 to 14 years

Inters

The bridge between Juniors and Seniors. More intensity, more choice, and the first steps towards Leadership and pre-vocational training.

About this stage

Life in Inters

Inters is where dancers start to take ownership of their training. Classes dig deeper technically, festival work gets more ambitious, and Theatre Company productions feel like the real thing.

From 13, students can also join the AKA Leaders Programme, training with us to become dance teacher assistants and, in time, dance teachers themselves.

What we focus on

  • Advanced graded technique across key disciplines
  • Festival teams and Theatre Company productions
  • AKA Leaders Programme from age 13
  • First taste of pre-vocational focus

What they can take

A note for parents

Inters is a big step up. We will help you choose the right mix of classes, and from 13 the AKA Leaders Programme is there for students who want to start training to teach.

We could not recommend Amelia K Academy enough. Our daughter has been with Amelia and her team for five years, and has thrived here. Amelia and her team provide the best atmosphere, a warm environment, amazing opportunities and they allow the children to flourish in the world of performing arts. The academy genuinely feels like a second family to us - if we could give this more than five stars we would!
